Yelyah is an American rapper and singer born March 15th, 1997 in Miami Florida. She was raised
by her father Miami Sports Radio host Jeff Fox along with 3 other siblings. Growing up in a single
parent household Yelyah born Hayley Williams inherited her father's love of music. Her dad is
also a part-time DJ so no doubt music was a very intricate part of her upbringing. Yelyah's dad
also is an ex-rapper who had a distribution deal with BMG music in the 90's.
As a young girl growing up in Miami Florida she kept a book of rhymes and over time developed a
skill for writing songs and she has now mastered that craft.
Yelyah credits her early success to believe in her self. Her belief in God and for her love of music
period. She dreams of buying her dad a house one day. "Yeah one day I will put my old boy in his
own crib " she says glowingly.
Yelyah has inked a label deal with Baltimore based Austin Music Group. Yelyah who is a
graduate of Miami Norland High School just dropped her debut single “It’s A Party” and the song
along with the video shot by Demo World’s Curtis Ballard has become an instant hit with DJ’s.
The video to “It’s A Party” has become a top 10 hit on Video Mix TV which broadcasts in Atlanta
and Miami. No wonder the song caught the ear of Austin Music Group CEO Tony Austin.
With a new label deal and more hits coming in her arsenal, a talented singer and
songwriter……for Yeah, the sky is the limit.
