Tyrece Washington born (May 14,1993) better known by his stage name Teddyree, is an American R&B recording artist and song writer. Teddyree was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska where he graduated from Benson High Magnet School. Teddyree started singing and recording music at 15 with a friend he met at Benson. After feeling like his style didn’t fit in Teddyree stopped recording. Teddyree started music again in 2013 after receiving a text from 40 to record a song. After opening for Tech N9ne at the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis, South Dakota with 40 and Y.S. and receiving good feed back from Kris Kaliko. Teddyree knew from that point on he had to believe in himself. Teddyree’s earliest influences came from his mother and aunts who sung at church. Growing up he listened to multiple genres such as R&B,Hip-Hop, Blues, Jazz, Alternative rock, Pop, Country, and Opera. His biggest influences came from Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, D’Angelo, Michael Jackson, Prince, Nate Dogg, Notorious B.I.G., Shyne, 2Pac, and Ice Cube.
