About Sashae
Sasha Spronk, professionally known as Sashae’, is a Canadian singer/songwriter and spoken-word curator. She is also a holistic health and wellness practitioner, and an avid mind, body and soul advocate. She practices the healing arts of Reiki, Iridology, Intuitive coaching and sound therapy.
“It’s all about balance, and I truly make efforts to stay connected to the earth and myself through meditation, nature, yoga & creativity.”
Sashae’ is ready to release her next soulful single “Worth It”, which speaks about the dance between unconditional love, and conditional love. This song provokes a soothing, depth-promoting healing of the heart.
Her current single “Black Arrow” expresses hints of adversity – having been written during the purge of some deeply painful experiences – atop the budding of the healing process.
She often refers to herself as a ‘spiritual warrior’, being a survivor of many trials in her lifetime that fostered in her great resilience and perseverance, always seeing her find the will to continue to create. Sashae’ loves to help people share their own stories of trial and triumph, as she understands the medicinal benefit of being raw, being heard and being bold.
From an outsiders view, you wouldn’t suspect that she has gone through the traumas she has, starting before she was even born. Adopted into a family outside of her heritage upon birth, she grew up with the tendency to adapt and accept the tragic history of her birth family. Sashae’ started writing around age 11 to channel out the internal suppression of her emotions. This is soul.

The progression of her music ran parallel to her healing quest – and the space created through releasing and transmuting allowed the true essence of Sashae’ to shine through.
Over the past 5 years, Sashae’ has performed around Alberta at events such as Globalfest, Sofar Sounds, and Market Collective, in addition to her ongoing performances with Broadview Homes and various local venues. Sashae’ continues to perform as both a solo musician, and in collaboration with other like-minded artists. Her current cinematic music video “Black Arrow” is available now on YouTube.
Her mission is to spread good vibes, as her music works to ground the listener with soothing melodies and sultry tones, all while speaking lyrically from her personal insights and life experiences.
