Ricky Venoris Arnold Jr. professionally known as Ricky V is an American rapper and singer born August 4th 1983 in Little Rock,
Ar. Ricky V started writing lyrics and rapping at age 13 where he was Influenced by the likes of Mystikal, Rick James, Bone
Thugz -n- Harmony, Lil Wayne, Da Brat, Usher, Z-Ro and T.I. Ricky V was a part of the Texas group the Southern Hoodlums for
1 album “Who Got That Fire” in 2002 before collaborating with several other artist and releasing his first mixtape entitled “Pain 2
The Game” in 2005. After developing the record label Blood Diamond Entertainment LLC in the summer of 2006, Ricky V went
on to release his 2nd mixtape entitled “Hold My Own vol. 1” in 2007, followed by the group (Black Opts) mixtape “The
Unapologetic Truth” in 2008. After the group split up in the fall of 2009 Ricky V took a break from music until the Spring of 2011.
In April of 2011 Ricky V started working on his 3rd mixtape “I Got It On Lock”, after getting signed to his first recording contract
to Delta South Records, at age 30. Ricky V went on to release “I Got It On Lock” the summer of 2013 on Delta South Records.
After just a 1 year contract Ricky V parted ways with Delta South and continued his career under Blood Diamond Entertainment
LLC where he is about to release his 4th mixtape “Hold My Own vol. 2” 2018 and first album “The Game Changer” 2019.
