PHIL THE PRODIGAL is an 18 year old producer, songwriter and musician from Chicago. His first mixtape offering entitled FILE 48 showcases the artistry and creativity in his music. He produced all the music on FILE 48, wrote and provided the vocals on all the hooks as well as the interlude, Stay With Me. He also lends his rap skills on the first verse of Searching. FILE 48 is also a vehicle he wanted to use to feature two of his friends, up and coming rappers, TEDDY STAX and MALIK. Their first single together, Mr. Shmnkr featuring Summer, got almost 10,000 plays on Soundcloud. The FILE 48 mixtape has already surpassed that. It is now playing on Soundcloud.
