

2005 Graduate from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in AZ, Chris “CrittaKal” Nelson has become a leader in the Producing and Engineering field in Utah. After graduation he moved to Garnersville, New York to join a team of skilled and professional Audio and Video Engineers. Along with his team they would setup events for major corporations in the Tri-State area. He then decided to move home closer to family and pursue his career in Utah. He was hired as the In House Engineer for “In The Venue”, a popular concert hall in Salt Lake City. He engineered hundreds of top 100 artist from every genre on the music spectrum. While his career was growing at the Venue, he joined the team of Engineer’s at Pratt Sound. He acted as FOH Engineer for several concerts across Utah, including but not limited to Usana Amphitheater, Vivent Smart Home area and many others. While he was Engineering, he began to freelance as a Videographer, using the skills he learned as a Audio/Video Engineer in New York. He has brushed shoulders with many mainstream artist during that time, including but not limited to; Treacherous Records, Crooked I (Slaughter House), James Elizabeth, Knocturnal, C-BO (West Coast Mafia), Young Buck, E40, Mista Fab, Nas, Spice One, Method Man, Kurupt, Dub C, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg and many others. After a family emergency he was forced to care for his two sons and leave the engineering for several years. In 2019 he bounced back on the scene in a major way producing music for talented recording artist around the world. He is actively pushing harder than ever before, to be one of the leaders in production.
